 Paper Crowns

  


She wears her cause like woven gold,

a banner bright, a story told.

Yet ink runs thin where truth should stay—

bound to the press that sold her way.

  


She lifts her chin, a measured grace,

as if the name could grant her place.

But paper thrones and hollow claims

won’t rewrite fire in other names.
